A new search

Some time ago I posted this question here and a couple of you were kind enough to answer back, unfortunatelly the answers were not good. So I have decided to try once more.

You see, its a bit what we were discussing before about those series that are left inconclusive or half way through.

It is very sad when this happens, specially when it's not the author's fault but the publishers, which to be precise this is the case. Meisa Merlin had been going funny for a long time, so little by little they let go those authors they though not profitable enough. Funny enough those that remained were not able to salvage the ship either, and eventually it sank.

One of those authors that was let go, was Ms Beth Hilgartner who wrote a quite a few books for children and also a two trilogies for the older children (you & me), the trilogy I am enquiring is called the Empire of Bharaghlaf and I enjoyed books 1 + 2 very much, sadly when book 3 was about to come out the problem with MM occurred. By the way, the book was ready to be published, so yes, it was written.

Book 1 is A Business of Ferrets
Book 2 is A Parliament of Owls
Book 3 was meant to be An Ambush of Tigers

I did try to contact Ms Hilgartner but although we corresponded for some time then she never answer my e-mails any more. Anyway, the thing is that who knows, maybe after all these time somebody out there knows something and wouldn't mind sharing it with the rest of us. By the way her last known e-mail address is pkp@valley.net Common guys, lets squeeze our little grey cells and see we can make a team/buch/group effort and solve this litte mistery, what do you say?
