Re: Chicken

Meowrr and Namaste. Just know that you are doomed. Escape is impossible and you really should not believe anyone who tells you they are quite sane by any accepted standard. In return we offer books, movies, music, cats and possibly chopsticks along with conversations on just about anything and everything along with peanuts, cakes, chocolate and whisky.

As for the basement, please feel free to visit. We're always hungering for visitors.

Come visit the Tea Room (The Quiet Room) and tell us about your favourite authors, movies, music ... It's always a good idea to bring something intriguing for the cat when visiting.

Re: Chicken

You don't have to give strange titles to get welcomed to this place; take a look at some of the sort of "hello" titles, and the response they've had. Basically, we just like new voices, new viewpoints, new people and are only too happy to say so.
I suppose I should formally welcome you in, although we have already met; one of my critiques can be considered the equivalent of an introductin (yes, I do grammar. It's something I'm capable of, and it can occasionally be useful).
Ah' the 'Cat's back. Please be careful of that offer of a tour of the basement; not that she's lying or anything, but that book reads people, rather than the inverse. Like the offer of peanuts, caution is advised.
And I have never been tall or blonde - indeed, singing "Hi-ho" would not be entirely out of place for me (though if you refer to me as "lawn ornament" you could end up about knee-height shorter) Neither have I been adolescent in an extremely long time. However diversity makes the Chrons go round (or eliptical, or hexagonal - it's very diverse) and all opinions are to be treasured.
Welcome in.
