Fifth time's the charm...?

I'm going to attempt this one more time, before I really do begin to believe in curses. Overread started (or attempted to star) this thread on the oddest errors in print, but the programme seems to have a grudge against it. It didn't show up properly when originally posted... nor when I've tried re-posting it four times since. So, I'm going about it yet another way, and hoping that this time it will....

Here's the original post (the original thread title was, as noted, "The oddest errors in print"):
