Re: Awful approach letter

'XXX Island' sounds like an Adult reality TV show . I know my English is awful, my grammer and puncuation is really bad(and English is my first language) but at least I can make a sentance sound almost legible. It does look like it has been put through a few free online translators

This book will help your company in so many ways.
I am curious as to what exactly the author of XXX Island meant by that...

Re: Awful approach letter

It will make billions, sell quadrillions, give the favour of the Prince, and set the bar for quality English throughout the world - all good things that a respectable company should desire.

Now, let's have a look at my query letter for XXX Island 2: Return of the XXX

Re: Awful approach letter

Now that you've said all that, it seems so obvious. I don't know how I failed to see it before...

<_<
>_>

Ah well. I'm sure the author of the letter knew exactly what he/she meant. It's just a shame the rest of us never will.

After sending it to Brian, they sent it to LucasArts (a novel to a game company? I think we'll call this Strike Two for them in terms of not doing their research :P).

Here's their rewritten version as a game:

I have a game Monkey Island, that your company may be interested in. this particular game Monkey Island is selling in the USA very well. I'm so glad that I'm the Maker The Romance Gamers of American had an Article on game producers over seas. Sometimes buy the rights to gamer designer games in their country. I do believe that Monkey Island will sell in England this game is a nonfiction love story about monkeys. Some times Prince Charles comes to the Monkey Island he has an estate there.
