| Re: Stories we would like to see... I've an idea - you may have seen the Star Trek DS9 episode called 'Trials and Tribbleations' in which they revisited the original series episode 'The Trouble with Tribbles' and, using CGI, super-imposed a new story on top of the old one. I was wondering whether you could do the same in Doctor Who. I've enjoyed the 'Life on Mars' and 'Ashes to Ashes' TV series that were set in the '70's and '80's and thought maybe the Doctor could go back to those periods in time. If he did, he would already be there though - hence the meeting himself, other story super-imposed idea. They almost did this already with 'Rememberance of the Daleks' when Sylvester McCoy returned to 1962, just a few days after William Hartnell had left, to complete some unfinished business. I thought that worked well, but I'd like to see him in the '70's with UNIT - that was 'my' Doctor Who era. |
