| Energy Consumption of the Stargate For a wormhole generating device, the stargate requires an unrealisticly small amount of energy, being able to run on a couple of trucks. How is this possible as a wormhole must require a vast amount of energy to curve space. |

| Re: Energy Consumption of the Stargate The explanation given in that episode (and others, such as Nemesis) is that the gate can store energy to make the connection. The energy from the trucks is only required to free the outer ring to allow the dialling. The same is used in, for example, Prisoners. Could also be an inconsistency. |
