Re: Third time's a charm *jaw drops* 30 replies?? Yes. You lot are addicted. Maybe I should get away again, while I still can! :P Thanks for your replies and welcomes. It was fun to read. As for the pronounciation of my nick: it's in the back of the book and I think it is Day-neer-ease. More or less. Day-nee for short (Dany). Funny that I always shorten everyone's name with -y, but not Daenerys. That is Dae. Well, I am Dae. Tyrion is my boyfriend's favorite character, and Daenerys comes second for him. I actually got him hooked on the book series. He's a little more into it now than I am. But he did ruin my second book, but BENDING the SPINE. It shows wear and tear and I hate when that happens to my books. I think what I'll like about this forum is that there is room for everything! Sillyness, intelligence, fun, deep discussions and exchange of information. I like that. ![]() I do have a site of my own to keep up with too, so I cant promise I'll be here every waking moment, but I'll try to be here as much as I can!

Re: Third time's a charm All my dragon lance chronicles books I bought a decade and a half ago are so worn on the spine because I like to fold them when I read that they are held together by tape and kid's white glue, literally. I'd throw them out, but I've spent so many hours with them over the years that I can't bear to let them go. Even though I bought new ones (with the new art covers) years back.

Re: Third time's a charm Meowrr and Namaste. Just know that you are clearly doomed. Escape is impossible as you know by now and you really should not believe anyone who tells you they are quite sane by any accepted standard. In return we offer books, movies, music, cats and possibly chopsticks along with conversations on just about anything and everything along with peanuts, cakes, chocolate and whisky. ![]() As for the basement, please feel free to visit. We're always hungering for visitors. Come visit the Tea Room (The Quiet Room) and tell us about your favourite authors, movies, music ... It's always a good idea to bring something intriguing for the cat when visiting. ![]()
