Also new, also written a book which seems to be too long. Damn. It's 195k words, more or less. There's a natural break I could use at 165k, but that's still too long. Bloody hell.

First of all, well done for finishing your novel!!

As an avid reader throughout my life, in the last couple of years I became quite critical of bad writing that got published.

In the last 10 months, I decided to start to write a book myself. And now have a new found admiration for anyone that finished writing a book!!! No matter how bad it is...

It is hard!!

So congrats, and can I ask how long did it take you to write your novel?
