Greetings and questions Hello everyone. My name for this site is TTM, on other sites I am known as Time Travelling Mechanic (but that name wouldn't fit here). I am an aspiring writer, and was recommended this site by another member of your community. I am an Anime fan, and have been writing a FanFic based in the universe of the Naruto anime and manga for a few months now as practice for a Sci-Fi or Fantasy novel I will be creating in the future (currently I am unsure of which it would qualify as ). The FanFic is currently over 70 000 words and I have learned much since I started it.I have two questions, which I ask so that I may go about things properly instead of posting in an incorrect area or the like and annoying everyone. 1. Does this site accept FanFics if I submit them? I should point out here that I am not one of those people who makes a fic which is a battle to read. This is a work I am using to receive feedback upon so that when I commence work on my novel it can be as good as I can make it. Furthermore I have almost completely diverged from the main storyline, so it isn't some boring rant which follows the series anyway. 2. If you do accept FanFics, where is the place I could submit it? Maybe this is a bit of a newbie question but I may as well get it right first time. Thanks for taking the time to read my questions, and I hope we'll see each other out on the forums ![]()

Re: Greetings and questions Hello and welcome! Always good to see new faces here! ![]() I'm not sure about submitting fanfics - usually, people post an excerpt of their writing in the critiques section for others to peruse, give their opinions and give advice about grammar, spelling, semantics and such.

Re: Greetings and questions okay post a few lil bits over in Crituiques (I can't spell don't cme to me ofr help) and people will look over them, I'ts always good to see new faces down there. You can't post the whole Darn thing though.... If you want, Some people are willing to read through longer work if you email it through and they'll send it back with comments etc. I would do so but at the mo am looking through something for The Bloated Shaganant, so... Post in critiques and ask, If not PM me and Email it and when I've got time I'll take a gander Although I hate anime so probably not a good idea as I would be like WTF? Anyways, Welcome to this distant and mythical place, All corridors lead to the quiet room, where you will slowly surrender the will to leave your computer as you chat innocently over a cup of tea. Everyone here has an agenda, it seems to be to turn as many people, as quickly as possible crazy.. But I think this is just a cunning ruse, to cover the tracks of Irn Bru smugglers on the boards. oh well Enjoy, take care.

Re: Greetings and questions Crazy, Woodsman? I'm perfectly sane. Hello and welcome! Glad you've stumbled in here. You can't escape. Mwahahahahahahaha! As for your question, I'm not sure about fanfic. Being that the work would NOT be your own copyright (to a degree), I'm not sure this site would accept it. You could posts some excerpts of your novel, though, as said. Or will someone contradict me? See you around!

Re: Greetings and questions It's always good to have another (aspiring) writer around -- welcome aboard. As others have said, this isn't a story storehouse so much as a place to post segments of your work for others to give pointers and feedback on.

Re: Greetings and questions Not with the tools I'm restricted to here ![]() Well, today went past surprisingly quickly, and I haven't been able to decide on a fragment to submit. I'll sleep on it and post some tomorrow. I didn't expect so many people to say hi! Thanks everyone, and I'll see you tomorrow.
