| Crooked Warden | Re: Salutations... First one is Brienne of Tarth. She has taken me a while because she is not a simple pretty character. The red haired fairy's expression is there. I try to make all my characters have some sort of expression so they dont look like barbie dolls. Dany is getting reworked though. ANyway my pretties I am ofski to bedski and I shall see you anon. I can tell you from the future that Thursday is a pretty good day, it may involve some gaming, then a lovely dinner, posibly of milo encrusted veal and the moon will be mostly full and large and yellow glowing, but when you go to take photos to show all your friends on teh chrons how pretty it looks, the clouds will obsure your vision and twart you. You may curse a bit. Anyways goodnight * Slips throught the shadows walking the pattern back to Oz* |

| Re: Salutations... Just enough time to say, Yikes! I was way off! Please don't take that as an indictment of your work. I did wonder at the fact that the eyes weren't green or the hair not quite 'spun gold', but I guess I picture Brienne differently - something along the lines of pale, somewhat freckled, square-jawed and otherwise desperately plain-faced. Not even sure if that's accurate to the text, but it'smy lasting impression of her. And the expression on the red-haired fairy is, frankly, amazing, as it was deliberate and all. Incredibly subtle. G'night Wy - I'll be back later to post my tips for tomorrow. |

Update: Leish says that, apparently, some people have problems when they don't tick the 'keep me logged in' option (next to your username and password when you go to log in). If you clear your cache, and then make sure you tick this box, it may solve your problems. Which is news to me. I've never had to tick said box. But there you go. |

[quote]Brienne is abnormally large and strong for a woman, and exceeds most men in size. She has large, very blue eyes that appear trusting and guileless, but they are her only attractive feature. She is extremely broad-shouldered, but has virtually no bust. Her face is broad and coarse, with a nose that has been broken several times. Her mouth is too wide, with prominent and crooked teeth and lips so plump they seem swollen. Her hair is the color of dirty straw and her face is mottled with freckles[quote] I would have liked to give her an overbite but unfortunately the daz controls dont allow for it, but I have tried to get her close to the discription. The skin is freckled but faded (pre render the freckles are more visible), freckles as you would probably see on an adult who was a one big freckle as a kid. Anyway she is a work in progress still, as most of my pictures are, I can always see ways to improve them and often go back and tweek them. | |

| Re: Salutations... The many-times broken nose and the plump lips I'd completely forgotten about. On a second look I do see the freckles, but somehow took them for skin texture (I mean, they are, but...agh, you know what I mean ). As you say, she's probably one of hardest characters to picture, probably because Martin piles on so many aspects of her *bless her* ugliness.Ah well, good luck in the tipping tomorrow. I'm offski to bedski myself soon enough (you rise, I fall ). |
