Re: Salutations...

Ha ha ha. I went and saw Ross Noble. He was brilliant, if it's any consolation (it probably isn't ).

I really like crazy Japanese people as a rule (is that backwards-racist?). I'm going for them!

Re: Salutations...

Yeah I love Ross Noble, i just wish my hair would obey some sort of neatness for 5 seconds

Yeah I am going for Japan, I'd like to see them go through, there needs a bit of variety other than just all South American teams.

Nah I think the backwards racist term is used by Group A when Group B (who are usually claiming that Group A is a bunch of racists) is displaying racist tendancies towards Group A. When really it is the same thing.

Re: Salutations...

That's good to know! (re: backwards racism)

Interesting what Foss said. I hope Japan comes out and attacks more, though it seems unlikely that will happen...

Re: Salutations...

I just hope this game improves, it's been bloody dire so far.

Well, and I hope my prediction comes to pass.

Re: Salutations...

One thing I have noticed with the WC though is strange things happen. I mean, who would have thought that the USA would get as far as they did, or that France and Italy would not even make this round, or that NZ would draw go as well as they did?

The rate its going you may get your draw! though I think if it is a draw it will be 0-0 and if they keep going like this it will go to penalties.

Re: Salutations...

I blame it on the Vuvuzelas and the lack of streakers to be honest. It just doesnt feel like a football game.

Re: Salutations...

Haha, I certainly agree with you re: streakers. This World Cup could do well to be more cheeky.

Re: Salutations...

When I went to the Roar v Celtic match there were 3 streakers, and at the other games i have been to there has been at least one. It just doesnt seem right to see a sporting event without the obligatory nudie run.

Re: Salutations...

Hey guys, interesting little *chat* you've got going here. I see streakers are the big issue. I think I want in on this conversation.

Penalties it is. 'bout damn time! I love shoot-outs just as much as streakers.
