Re: Salutations...

Oh, sorry I meant to answer that. Well, the post count just records the amount of posts you have on the forum, but it doesn't count posts in here (The Lounge), or in the Playrooms, it's only posts in the 'serious' discussion sections that count towards your total.

But I can't explain why your posts suddenly went from 11 to 3, that's a complete mystery to me!!

Re: Salutations...

How mental, Mir?

Well, they are usually just really bizarre. Sort of like with Leish's one, driving a jacket potato.

Either that, or they're intense and serious, and seem completely real, and sometimes bad things happen.........

I've woken up before plenty times and been really glad it wasn't real..............

Posts in the "light" fora don't count toward your post-count, Charlene..that's the Lounge, Playrooms, Intros, etc, whereas ones in the SF/F ones, like the book and film ones, do. This is to keep the site targeted on its main ..er...target, and to stop post-counters from racking up huge post-counts with what is essentially waffle.

Now, if a thread is moved from one category to another, as your "I'm Sorry" thread was, the posts in it that did count while it was in "Critiques" are now counted as posts in the Lounge, which don't.
I hope this makes sense....

If your a farmer yes they are.

Kangaroo meat is the best red meat in the world you can eat (I'm not making this up). It is lean and tastes brilliant and because there are so many kangaroos around bothering farmers it doesn't do much the the economy of kangaroos. It is the least fatty red meat around.

Oh, you can't send private messages until you have 15 posts, Charlene, (ironically), it's a measure to discourage spambots, etc.

Ah, it makes sense to me now, Pyan, cheers. Of course.......!!

Re: Salutations...

As to the Kangaroos, to the farmers they are considered a pest, but that is because they eat the same food as cows, but if they just switched to farming kangaroos rather than sheep and cows then there wouldn't be a problem. The Kangaroo meat is very low in fat and is quite tasty when it is prepared correctly. Last time I was at mums we had roo stroganoff and it was beautiful.

Oh Wallabies can pack a wallop, don't worry about that, they have extremely powerful hind legs, like the Roo's and could probably do almost as much damage.

Oh and regarding my dream last night, I replied to an email before I went to sleep and er the content of the email that I was replying to invaded my dreams. Anyway it is the content that I cant go into here.

That makes a lot of sense...

And the wallaby statement you just wrote: I totally heard an Australian accent in my head as I was reading that .

And, wow! I didn't realize that... I am sorry for underestimating the little critters...
