| Ann Chamberlin I recently read The Merlin of St. Gilles' Well by Ann Chamberlin. It's the first in a trilogy about Joan of Arc. I thought it was a decent read, though Joan is only a newborn in this book. I dwells mostly with the people who end up being her companions and enemies later on. It also has a heavy religious theme, Paganism vs. Christianity. This is the first book I've read by her. Has anyone here read the full trilogy or any of her other books? |
