The Oracle Prophecies Trilogy, by Catherine Fisher

I'm currently reading my way through this excellent (in my opinion) YA trilogy: Greco-Egyptian type setting; vaguely reminiscent of LeGuin's Tombs of Atuan; the first book was short-listed for the Whitbread Children's Book Award, and I can see why.

I bought the first one at Half Price Books, liked it, and only then realized, to my dismay, that it was a British edition. I thought I'd have to get the other books from AmazonUK and pay all that shipping, but a little poking around online and I found out the books had been recently published in the US under slightly different titles.

Now I'm just starting the third book (UK title The Scareb, US The Day of the Scareb) which arrived just in time for my birthday (hooray!).

Has anyone else read these books?
