Finished Imperial Traitor =] The book was fantastic. I seriously couldn't put it down I was so impressed with it. I won't post any spoilers I'll just go on about how amazing it was. The ideas were excellently used and I thought it was a brilliant way to finish the trilogy. I also liked the way that there was a slightly open ending, maybe you'll write another!

Re: Finished Imperial Traitor =] Wow! That was fast. If only I were allowed to make the books longer, I might manage to stop people reading the entire book the day it becomes available! Of course the inevitable question then follows ... when's the next book coming out? To which I reply ... I can't write them as fast as you read them! The ending was deliberately left that way to give me the option to return. I already have ideas for future stories, but those are best left alone for now, as I have more than enough to do writing the Dragon Orb quartet. Glad to hear you enjoyed the story, Feordel. It always gives me warm fuzzies when the first few bits of positive feedback start coming in.

Re: Finished Imperial Traitor =] Well you should be proud of yourself Mark! This is the first book (other than the harry potter series) where I have just read it non stop, a great compliment from me!

Re: Finished Imperial Traitor I've just finished reading my copy of Imperial Traitor too, and like Feordel, I really enjoyed it - many thanks, Mark! For those who haven't yet bought a copy, but who might be interested, I've posted a review in the usual place: http://www.chronicles-network.com/fo...rk-robson.html Enjoy! ![]()

Re: Finished Imperial Traitor =] 3rd September is the official launch date, but the books are sent out to stores up to a couple of weeks before that date. Stores rarely take note of publishing dates unless there are strict embarges like those on the Harry Potter books. Amazon have been sending out books for a few days now. ![]()

Re: Finished Imperial Traitor =] I nearly bought it yesterday but as I was about to pay for it, I realised that Mark was coming to sign his books in Waterstones next Saturday so I thought that I'd wait. There's going to be some competition though, Mark as Mary Hoffman is going to be there as well.

Re: Finished Imperial Traitor =] Best of luck with the launch and book signings, Mark. Your Imperial trilogy is on the way from Amazon as I type! I'm ashamed at being so tardy in reading them (school holidays, the Edinburgh book festival and a mountain of work...) They sound fantastic - in fact, it was a rave review on the review section of this very forum that reminded me I was missing out on a very good read! ![]()

Re: Finished Imperial Traitor =] I just realised I have one chapter and the epilogue left. I do sometimes get so anoyed when a book ends, especially a series. I guess i will have read the end by tommorow.
