Re: The Darkweaver Legacy by Mark Robson Not really, but they're one of my favourite series. Its about Iron age Britain, Roman invasions, battles, and i guess dreamers count as magicians. The first one follows Breaca of the Eceni tribe through her childhood, and her half brother Bán. As the series goes on, Bán joins the legions, Breaca earns(sp) the nickname of Boudica - meaning "she who brings victory" and is named warrior of Mona (island of Mona is where all the warriors from the tribes go to train). However Bán who becomes Julius Valerius, moves up ranks in the roman army, and tries to repress a revolt from all of the tribes - lead by Breaca. Eventually Valerius is named traitor by both sides and goes into exile. He later redeems himself in the eyes of the Eceni, and fights alongside Breaca in the final battle to rid Iron age Britain from Roman rule. sorry i'm not great at explaining plot lines

Re: The Darkweaver Legacy by Mark Robson i have just finished reading The Trail Of The Huntress, and thought it was an icredible and praise worthy read. i thoroughly enjoyed the journey of each of charecters! the reason i get such pleasure out of the storytellers, mr. Robson's, books, is the fact that they are all easy reads, all the while captivating as well as entertaining me! the only thing i didint enjoy about the book, was the tragic death of my favourite character Demar, although i was exceptionally pleased with the heroric manor. in my humble opinion Mr. Robson's books seem to fit snuggly between the likes of Harry Potter and The Lord Of The Rings. i personally prefer the Darkweaver Legacy to both of these. three cheers to Mark Robson

I'm glad that you are also pointing people at Chronicles. I've very much made this my home online. It's a great site with some super people. I've always felt a part of the community here, even though I haven't been able to get about the site as often, or as much as I'd like. | |

Re: The Darkweaver Legacy by Mark Robson Hi everyone!!! My name's Aleera and I'm italian.. I read "Imperial Spy" and I must say that's wonderful!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() Reading that one made me want to read also the previous books of "The Darkweaver Legacy", but in Italy they're not published yet!!! How's that possible??? ![]() And another question: reading the beginning of Femke's story, there are some hints about a story that should precede the new Emperor's coronation and Shalidar's escape.. Does that mean that there are other books (already printed) about Femke and Shalidar or that they will be soon printed??? ![]() Thanks! PS: sorry 4 my terrible English.. ![]()

Re: The Darkweaver Legacy by Mark Robson Aleera, welcome to Chronicles. ![]() To answer your question, there were four books in the Darkweaver Legacy, which I self published in England. Imperial Spy was the first book I had published by a major publisher, and so was the first book that overseas publishers really took any notice of. I suspect that Mondadori were not even aware of my other books when they bought the Imperial titles. I know that Imperial Assassin is due to be published there soon, so you will get the continuation of the story, but some of the back story between Shalidar and Femke did happen in the Darkweaver books. At present I don't think Mondadori have any plans to translate those four books, but if there is enough interest, who knows? Maybe they will buy and translate them sometime in the future. I certainly hope so.
