Re: The Art of War II: AmonRa vs. Leto For Leto: ***************** Vork? Do you mean Vak? You aren't inside Vork... at least, not yet. Sorry if that was unclear. You can obviously march your troops there, but that will take a little time. Also, could you clear up what you're doing in Kyer. Who's side are you burning?

Re: The Art of War II: AmonRa vs. Leto Vak no prob. Well, I'd start with one or two houses in my own side (the regular way by walking on roofs) - to let the population think THEY started it all. Then, their side, the idea is to get populations on my part so angry they do most the fighting for my troops.

Re: The Art of War II: AmonRa vs. Leto caladanBrood i am now awaiting the reply from the spies i sent to Vork, i have told my men that if they do not return within two days they are to march to the other side of the bridge and await further instructions. At Kyer, i am assuming that Leto is going to attempt some sort of attack here, so my men are order to move their camp as close to the bride as possible, but with out uppsetting the town watch.

Re: The Art of War II: AmonRa vs. Leto Let's say our spies were sent to capture some exchange messages and now we're waiting for caladanbrood returns to tell us if they were successful or not. Now, i have to return to check my wizards, I don't know what they started in their attempt to cook but it smells like a corpse exposed for hours in an hot summer day.

Re: The Art of War II: AmonRa vs. Leto For AmonRa: ************* Your spies have returned from Vork, and rrported that the fortress apears to be absolutely deserted, but they cannot find a way in, as the gates are barred. They believe that you could batter down the gates with enough time and men. They met your men advancing in that direction on the bridge, and now all are camped on the bridge awaiting orders. In Kyer, your troops have moved to the bridge, and a number of fires have broken out on the other side. Your captain reports that he has seen evidence to support attributing this to civil discord on the other side of the town. The garrison believes that the townsfolk are with them, and they will have an easy victory. A number have called for an immediate advance. The troops have not been fired on yet either, and believe this means their opposition are weak.

Re: The Art of War II: AmonRa vs. Leto For Leto: ***************** A number of houses are burning merrily. Your opponent's garrison has moved to the bridge, and your captain believes this is in anticipation of a large-scale attack. He urges caution, and is also very sorry to report that the burning may not have gone as well as it might seem. Some of your troops were spotted with burning torches just before the fires began, and a number of civilians are getting suspicious, and rabble-rousing. Your captain asks what to do with these trouble makers... All quiet elsewhere.

Re: The Art of War II: AmonRa vs. Leto Shout with the civilians and get these "unfortunate" troops into the river ourselves, with their knifes and swords on them. From a previous disaster long ago by the sea, I've made sure all my troop can swim as dolphins, even in fresh water. Now, the civilian troublemakers certain we've cleaned our ranks of all damned spies, it's time to show them the troops currently crossing the bridge in arms.

Re: The Art of War II: AmonRa vs. Leto for CaladanBrood: =================================== At Kyer, i am guessing that if i wait round long enough i will be attacked, so i am sending my men across the bridge in an attempt to attack Leto's troops before they have any chance of getting any help from the townsfolk. Im sending them across in a straight on assuault, attempting to shock the enemy forces, and knock them down before they know what hits them. At Vork: some of the flamable alchahols have been sent here, we are going to use this and attempt to blast open the main door and claim control of the castle, 50 of my men have been sent to the near by woods to gather lumber. once vork is under my control, as many men as possible are to be stationed in side, with the archers on the walls and in the keep (if any). if my legion is too large to fit in, the remainder will make a camp outside. the wood from the nearby forest shall be used for a new door, weapon repairs, fire wood etc. etc. the castle is also to be searched for any valuble treasures or weapons. At Fjener/Tjener: the remaining flamable liquids are to be sent here, and spread across the bridge, hopefully by tieing parts of garment to by arrows i can make burning arrows . if the enemy tries crossing the bridge, they will be burned down with it as the charge.============================================= P.s: Leto can u make it clear if i can read ur message, thanx ![]()
