Re: Chronological Order Start with The Riftwar (Magican,Sliverthorn and Darkness at Sethanon) Or even The Empire series co-written with Janny Wurts, ( Daughter of the Empire, Servant of Empire and Mistress of the Empire) Then it woul be the Krondor books, although they aren't finished yet and may never be( Betrayal in Krondor, Assassins in Krondor and Tears of the God) Could also give them a miss. Then, Prince of the Blood and The King's Bucaneer Serpent War Saga (Shadow of a Dark Queen, Rise of a Merchant Prince, Rage of a Demon King and Shards of a Broken Crown) The Conclave of Shadows books next( Talon of the Silver Hawk, King of Foxes and Exiles Return) Darkwar Saga (Flight of the NightHawk, Into a Darkrealm and Wrath of a Mad God, to be released later this year) The Riftwar Legacy I'd recommend reading around the same time as Riftwar.

Re: Chronological Order I didnt think the riftwar legacy bookswere that great, although interesting, If you want skip them all together likewise the krondor books although both provide more detailed information about key charachters. The serpentwar saga definately makes a little more sence if you read The Kings Bucaneer first - I didnt!

Re: Chronological Order Now that I have all of 'em, I'd also recommend reading the Riftwar Legacy series right after Magician, which I got as two books, 'Magician Apprentice' and 'Magician Master'. After that I like to skip over to the Kelewan series, which gives you more of a perspective on the Tsuranni. After that the best way to go is in the chronological order Ray wrote them.
