launch parties and readings

Just to announce that there are two events coming up to mark the release of NewCon Press's 2nd anthology disLOCATIONS. Untitled Document

On Saturday 11th August, at 3.00pm, at New Hall in Cambridge, there will be a celebration of the release with readings by myself and Ian Watson from both the new book and the first antholgy, Time Pieces. This is part of the 'Recombination' convention, at which Ian is one of the Guests of Honour, along with Joe Walton, Chris Pramas and Franklin Gunkelman.

Then, on Monday 13th August, at 7.00pm, there will be a gathering at Peterborough Central Library to mark the launch. This will consist of brief discussion intermingled with readings from the new anthology by Chaz Brenchley, Pat Cadigan, Amanda Hemingway, Ian Watson, Andy West and me. Drinks and nibbles courtesy of yours truly and admission is free.

Any Chroniclers who live within reach of either venue, please feel free to come along -- it would be great to meet you!

The events went really well, thanks, Patrick. Fewer people than hoped but everyone seemed to have a good time and the book is generally selling well, with 120 of the 500 gone in the first month, so I cant complain.
