Re: Black Static; Transmissions from beyond.

Hmmm, might investigate this one a bit further when I have time.

Have you set up a facebook group? That and a Bebo site might help a little.

If you set up either just feel free to add me as a friend other magazines have done this as in deathray and SFX.

Just an idea, PM me if I can help.

Thanks Ice. We have a presence on Facebook as Interzone but there is no one with the free time to do it on every network site and cover all our magazines Like Black Static, Interzone and Crimewave.

It involves quite a lot of work and every one is a volunteer.
Check out the TTA Press website and forum.

Re: Black Static; Transmissions from beyond.

Delivery to TTA towers is due Wednesday 11th. So check your subscriptions, you're unlikely to find it in the shops.

This, fifth, issue of Black Static has a thread of H P Lovecraft in its veins. Last year was the 70th anniversary of Lovecraft's death (15/3/1937) so we have Christopher M. Cevasco's Lovecraftian tale of HPL on his deathbed in "Less A Dream Than This We Know" and Peter Tennant's review of "The Necronomicon; The Best Weird Fiction of H.P. Lovecraft".

Look out for 'Slap' from Gary McMahon, whose novel 'Rain Dogs', Humdrumming Books, is also reviewed by Pete Tennant.

Bram Stoker Award winner Jack Ketchum is celebrated for his horror fiction and thillers in the US, perhaps less so in the UK. He is interviewed by Pete Tennant.

Zombies, Ghosts?, HPL, Jack Ketchum and Joel Lane; don't miss Black Static 5

Re: Black Static; Transmissions from beyond.

The printer sent us many more copies of Black Static 8 than we needed, so we’ve decided to offer a FREE COPY to every new subscriber between now and the publication in February of issue 9 or until we run out of issue 8, whichever comes first.

To take advantage of this offer CLICK HERE to enter the shop. Follow the simple instructions, and make sure you write BS8 Offer in the Shopper’s Reference field. That bit’s very important, without it you won’t receive the extra free copy.

The offer applies to all subscriptions to Black Static: both six-issue and twelve-issue subscriptions and both dual subscription offers with Interzone.

The shop can accept any credit/debit card and paypal.

And have a good Christmas and New Year or whatever other seasonal celebration suits you, whatever your reaction to this offer.

Re: Black Static; Transmissions from beyond.

As I have said before Black Static is 1 year old, in fact its 8th issue is out now so it is well into its second year. However the E edition is a little behind and Black Static 6 has just been uploaded at Fictionwise.

This issue contains Paul Meloy's 'All Mouth' and soon we will have Paul's collection, Islington Crocodiles available as an e book from Fictionwise.

Black Static 7 should be uploaded soon and TTA Press' first novel, Andrew Humphrey's Alison is now available from from Fictionwise.1633
