It's a bit before my time (quite considerably, actually ) but it's fab.Waiting for the ones I know like the ubiquitous Nights in White Satin. When I first heard this one as a kid I thought it meant 'Knights in White Satin' and pictured satin-clad knights riding through the night on some endless quest. I was very young . . . . |

Probably not helped by a TV ad I saw as a kid (maybe for a compliation album) which showed two astronauts jumping around on the moon with that track playing. (Are spacesuits made of satin? I don't think so.) Er ... currently playing on my random playlist is "Emperor's Banquet II" from the Breath of Fire IV soundtrack. | |

| bringer of cake | Re: Now Playing... Glad it's not just me! My brother teased me endlessly about that one - being 5 years older he felt mightily superior to his baby sister! Still watching the Moody's - they look so young, and so do their crowd. Pretty impressive to be playing to 600,000 in 1970. All you can see is a sea of people, sat down on the ground. It's an amazing sight. 'Expanding their minds' as one of the band members puts it! Too trollied to stand is my view! |
