Twas a
brilliant gig. They came on stage early, opened with
Crawl from the new album and from there they didn't drop the pace for over two hours and - by my reckoning - about 25 songs. The crowd (my good self included) went mad for
On Call, sang along mightily to
Sex On Fire, and listened in awe to a brilliant rendition of
Trani. If I have one minor, tiny, infinitessimal moan, it's that they didn't play
Spiral Staircase. But that's being really, really niggly - and I was feeling as high as everyone else when they played out with
Black Thumbnail. I'm deaf, hoarse...but very happy.
