We have a local club place called The Lemon Grove, and relatively well known bands play there. We had the Automatic visit recently. Wheeey! Bob Dylan - It's All Over Now, Baby Blue...I love this song, it's what made me start liking him. |

And why shouldn't we be doing? ![]() The first Dylan song I 'got intp' was Ballad of a Thin Man - a friend sent it to me about 6 months ago. ----- I want to listen to the Automatic album now. So I shall... but not in order!!The Automatic - You Shout, You Shout, You Shout, You Shout With the little rendition of This Little Piggy in it. --- Methinks I've heard of The Lemon Grove... either that or I'm thinking of the Banana Grove in Phoenix Nights. |

| Re: Now Playing... I'm listening to the Libertines now. Pity I got into them after they had split up - I was gutted. I'm also not a fan of the Kooks. I listen to the album occasionally, cos it stares at me and says, "You never really gave me a chance." But not one track sticks in my mind afterwards. Sam's Town is ok, but not as good as Hot Fuss. It follows the same kind of formula - half the tracks a bit crap, the other half really great. Unfortunately, the "great" tracks on Hot Fuss were a lot greater. Why can't bands do a decent second album these days? Cases in point: Razorlight, Killers, The Strokes, Kasabian (tbh though I didn't listen to their first) erm... Tenacious D... and I'm really scraping the barrell now ![]() PS - anyone heard The Good, the Bad, and the Queen yet? It's supposed to be good, but I haven't had chance to listen to it yet. |
