Re: The Strangest of Your Collection I have a CD by a folk band called Hodmadoddery (I think, without checking the spelling on the case!). Saw them play in a small pub in Bath and they were selling CD's for a fiver and the chap I was watching them with bought me one. One of the songs lasted longer than the chap did. ![]() ![]()

Re: The Strangest of Your Collection Well, most of my collection is Pop/Prog-rock...Y'know...Marillion (Hogarth), Genesis (Collins), Yes (Rabin) and all that sort of thing...But actually some of my fave albums in my collection are Tatu's Dangerous and Moving, Girls Aloud's Greatest Hits and S Club 8's Sundown...They're brilliant albums all of them... ...

| Direwolf of the chrons | Re: The Strangest of Your Collection hmm which soundtracks Kate? I have one or two I think my strangest has to be one CD I picked up of Ennio Morricone's completions of non-film music. I tried to listen to it once and it was, well freaky, I think its in a box somewhere round here - I will try to find the title..... very freaky music |

Re: The Strangest of Your Collection Primus are excellent at being weird. I suspect the strangest things I have are an SPK album, and some Nurse With Wound, both of which sound like torture being perpetrated on a variety of tools and steel bars. Two of my favourites, though, are Hermit Bastard (sadly now deceased) and Party Ben (Party Ben - Root for Stuff).

Re: The Strangest of Your Collection <chokes on doughnut> But you did say you were into pop ![]() I have some very strange prog albums, most strange being a Finnish group called Hoyry-kone. Non-prog, I can't think of much I would consider really strange, if I had to pick one it would be Mark Fry - Dreaming With Alice, a folk/psych album based on Alice Through The Looking Glass.
