Into sequel of first novel, finding it flowing much better now. 40000 words in, and the start at least has taken much better shape.

(Seems to flow better than the first one, and I wonder is that the case or if I've just looked at the first one so much I can't tell anymore.)

First submission to a magazine today - very nervous - 1000 word extension of my rejected 75 worder for this month (my mum liked it, and that is an absolute first ). I'm going to do a bit more competition entries and short stuff, see if I get feedback, and see the novel as something more of a marathon. So, that being the case by the end of the week I want to have a 750 word story completed - not sure what yet, but it'll be mainstream, I think - and a 1200 horror one, plus a revamp of a short sci fi one I did for a comp a couple of months ago and see about submitting it.

(feels great to be back playing.... and having more than one thing to look at each day. )

i got two in. the 1000 worder and a 750 one for a comp. And I got the sequel up to 45000 words, and then I got distracted with matters of pov.... where I'm kind of stuck for now.

Waaaay back in the heady days of 2007, I posted this (blimey, time, where have you gone). It was actually under the title of 'Other Worlds' but I'm so bad at titles and just put generic descriptions until I can actually give time to thinking of them, I left it off.

This is now 13/03/2012 - 18,500 - I killed 100's of words on an edit then birthed "many" (ah ah joke!) more. Going backwards, grrr, annoying.

Bowler, happens to me all the time, those words will come back when you edit, mine went from 150000 to 60000 to 90000 was back to 60000 on Sunday and is not back to 75000. And they've all been better than the original 150000 words, although that's not saying a lot.
