Me too! I just can't cut those corners. And because of that I think it takes me ages to work out other's abbreviations, especially in a medium such as this. Grrr.

Re: Ocd?

I have been told that a mild case od OCD can actually be quite helpful in life. Sounds fair enough, I wonder if the IT profession has a higher chance of OCD cases than others

Re: Ocd?

Scored an 8. And I'm not OCD, btw. Just have a few quirks.

I do, however, have a friend that's severely OCD. If you think you know someone that might be, I recommend reading up on it and avoid doing anything that could trigger a problem with them. It can be a much more serious condition than one would think.

Re: Ocd?

You scored a total of 2. You have answered this self-report questionnaire in such a way as to suggest that you do not likely currently suffer from an obsessive-compulsive disorder. You should not take this as a diagnosis or recommendation for treatment in any way, though.

Wouldn't be surprising. Same with Mathematics, methinks.

Re: Ocd?

Took the test....0... Now I'm starting to worry, after all these scores others have posted. Maybe I'm inadequate... perhaps the tests don't dig deep enough... maybe my condition is so severe that the test wasn't able to quantify it....

Bet if I took it again right now the result would be different!

Re: Ocd?

Oh I got 22... I'm most likely suffering from OCD, which I already knew... And I have obsessive counting disorder lol... If my hands get dirty..(not just the visable dirt from doing cleaning or gardening..but from petting the cat or emptying ashtrays) I have to wash them because they feel like they are burning lol. Also, I have to have my coffee table perfectly aligned with my sofa...if someone moves it a fraction of an inch I have to fix it. I do check my doors a couple of times at bed time...sometimes even get out of bed because I can't remember if I have checked it before.... hmmm....I'm weird.
Plus, I read my posts both before and after I've posted them, just to make sure that they are right lol

Re: Ocd?

I got a score of 1. But does it count if i have a basis for that fear? My car rolled down the hill last week and hit a tree...

Re: Ocd?

I'm wary of it, since I had to chase my car down a hill once
But I don't have a deep rooted paranoia that my car will flee from me!
(nope, it's the rejection I wouldn't be able to handle)

Re: Ocd?

You scored a total of 4. In fact I think it should be 0.

I'll make sure to stay away from your car and from you on a bus stop.

Re: Ocd?

You scored a total of 21.

As I figured!

Yes, agree about the text speak, the lack of punctuation, apostrophes in the wrong places, and the lack of putting spaces after punctuation (who could I be talking about, I wonder... ).
