Violinist in global charity busk

Wow, good luck! Even if he won't be collecting much coins at least promoting classical music.

BBC NEWS | UK | Violinist in global charity busk

"A Proms violinist is planning to spend five months busking his way around the world to raise money for charity.

David Juritz is travelling across 25 countries over the next four-and-a-half months, after setting off from a London Tube station on Saturday. The 60,000 mile trip, called Round the World and Bach, will be paid for by the money he earns from passers-by."

Re: Violinist in global charity busk

So he returned - the update:

BBC NEWS | UK | Magazine | 10 things to learn from busking round the world

Quote:
Violinist David Juritz has just returned from a round the world trip funded entirely from busking, and shares some valuable lessons.
The concert violinist has performed in many of the world's greatest halls as a soloist, guest artist and concertmaster of London's Mozart Players.
But when he left his London home on 9 June he had an empty wallet and had to earn his fare into the city centre. Since then, he has made £35,000 in loose change and online donations - £11,000 to fund the trip and the rest for music education for some of the world's poorest children.
