| Re: There's Nuffin' on the Telly ... Some news at at last. The scheduling is set in semi hard jelly! Prime time Saturday night on Channel 4 can't be bad! The series is currently scheduled to start transmitting on Channel 4 at 20.15 on Saturday November 10th. The programmes will be going out in the following order (subject to last minute chamnges by Channel 4):- Nov 10: Politicians vs. Stewards Nov 17: Archaeologists vs. History Students Nov 24: Accountants vs. Investors Dec 1: Archaeologists vs. Authors (This is it folks!) Dec 8: Guides vs. Surveyors Dec 15: Archivists vs. Students I hope some of you will tune in for a laugh as we authors take on the Institute of Field Archaeologists in a quiz show about ancient history. What would the archaeologists know about ancient history anyway? All they do is sit in holes in the ground fiddlng with mud! Last edited by Mark Robson; 30th October 2007 at 10:22 AM. |

| Re: There's Nuffin' on the Telly ... Brill Mark - it's in my organiser and I'll be recording it on Sky at 17.45 on 4 and then again at 18.45 on 4+1 (Sky 135) just in case I'm out - so it should tape one of them! (My Sky recorder is a bit naff, especially on channel 4.) I reckon you'll do very well. Well, consider archaeologists always have their heads in the sand, or rocks, or a hole or something, whereas authors are full of words! I can't wait. Well done. |
