What have you dreamt about?

I just remembered my dream I had last night and then I came to think of starting a thread where you can talk about your dreams. Does it mean something? What could it have meant? Or maybe it was just a great dream.

Ok, I'll go first. This dream I had last night.
When I woke up this morning I remembered that I've dreamt something about a guy, but I couldn't think of more than that. So I let that thought go.
But an hour later I remembered who the person was and what happened.

I dreamt about Mika (the singer).. and that we were a couple or something. At least we acted like we were.

I love those dreams where you can do all the things you've never dared to do in reality. Ok, I don't think about making out with Mika, but you get my point... I hope.

I once had a dream where I was the lead singer of the Arctic Monkeys, and doing a gig in a barn somewhere. Problem is, I didn't look like me, or Alex Turner, but the lead singer from Kasabian.

Anyway, last night's... hmmm... oh yes! That was it.

A friend and I were arguing about who, out of the two of us, was the best programmer. Since we couldn't reach an agreement, we challenged each other to a cricket match - 22 bowls, and the person with the most points would be crowned Best Programmer. The bowler was a big lad from the year below us.

Anyway, it took place in the School Sports Hall... except it was a lot bigger, and had stands around three sides in which sat the whole school, and then a lot more people.

22 bowls each, the points racked up. By the end, I'd hit 8 out of the 22 balls, with three sixes, and a few more runs to give me a score of 27. My friend (he's a tall, lanky fella who isn't into sport) hit all 22 balls, got 22 sixes, and a lot of runs beside. He managed to rack up 270 points.

Rather strange dream, I feel. But I have to admit, he is the better programmer out of the two of us... well, in VB that is. He doesn't have a clue about HTML, yet I do.

I just keep having mildly disturbing dreams about Ugly Betty's geek boyfriend, and running my boss over with a BIIIIIG truck!

I like the sound of the latter - running over a boss with a big truck. Don't see why it might be disturbing, though.

I have quite mundane dreams like going to visit my folks but there house is somewhere different then I have to go and do something but each time I go to do it something else crops up that I have to do first and in the end I forget what I was supposed to do in the first place

I have these weird flashbacks to dreams. Like:
"Then I think: yeah people can be so rude, like Maria last time. She just said : 'I'm out of here' and then bolted."
Then I realise: hey wait a sec, she didn't do that, it was in a dream
Last night I had my whole left arm paralyzed, probably by lying on it, not sure if I dreamt it or if it happened or both, I just know it was weird.

Heh, yesterday I got up quite early, so I went back to sleep for a little while after breakfast. I had arranged to go shopping with my friend, so she 'phoned me about 11:30 and then I went back to sleep afterwards. When I met up with her at 12:30, I had to ask whether we'd had a conversation about umbrellas on the 'phone (in typical Exeter style, it was raining yesterday) Turns out we hadn't, I had dreamt it all.

A few years ago I had this dream where I was a ... hm, I actually don't what I was, maybe someone who search for treasures. Anyway, this dream I had I dreamt more than one night and each time I started at the same place.

We are a few people who are in a ruin or something similar. Our mission is to go from "room" to "room" and bring out as much as possible in a couple of minutes (it's not a long time-feels like a few seconds). In one room it can be like animals, one can have food and another can have treasures.

I think this is the three rooms I've been in so far. I've never come further, don't know why. We always have to begin from the beginning.

One of my dreams (not a dream at night now.. it's those dreams you have like... "I want to be a doctor" etc) is that I will be a part of a huge adventure someday. I guess the chance for that is pretty small, but at least in my dreams at night I can be a part of that. Be a part of an adventure.

Can it be so? That the things we wish would come true, become true but in our dreams instead. If it is so, then I think it's a good thing. Then at least your wish got true, maybe not in reality but you'll get to see how it's like anyway.

I see what you mean. I've never heard about the cube before, but after I've read the text about it. Strange.. It is a little similar to my dream. Scary.

I wonder if a dream you have more than one time, is meant to mean something. Maybe tell you something.

I just had a....um...power nap (that lasted two hours, I'm so weak when it comes to sleep!) but I had a very strange dream. I dreamt I was with my friends in a house and I looked out of the window and the sky looked so strange. There was a long, dark trianglaur shaped cloud-thing in the sky and I said to my friends, I think it's moving, but no one would believe. But it was moving, and then bright streaks and long curling trawls of cloud filled the sky. There were a lot of people outside now all looking up at the sky, so we went out to join them and I said it was perhaps a large meteor breaking up in the atmosphere (it was spectacular, it filled the entire sky with bright streaks and long clouds and strange colours).
Even more weird...one of the bits of the meteor streaked across the sky...and then bounced off a large section of sky where reality was losing it's grip. This section was huge and dark and had a picture of a lobster in it.
Then the meteor sent certain types of birds mad (lizard birds they looked like, like the Archaeopteryx) and they started attacking everyone, but they soon died and the ground was littered with them.

Very odd.
