I hadn't realised it caused constant pain, I have to admit. Fingers crossed that whatever they find is treatable. (I dare say you've already checked out the Endometriosis UK website, but if not, it does seem very helpful.)

Re: Shout Your Frustrations to the World! (You know you want to.(READ FIRST POST))

Thanks again. Everyone here is always so nice.

I'm trying not to look at too many websites until I have the confirmation. Once I know I have it, I'll find out my options. I just hope there's something that'll work and that won't send me mental. If it's a choice between living with the pain or being Vicious Me, I'll have the pain.

Not everyone gets constant pain, too, so I guess I'm just greedy. ;p

But hopefully there'll be more treatments to try that my CFS won't give me an intolerance to... Gah! I don't think that even made sense! My brain is too tried!

At least Opera's highlighting my spelling errors, since I seem to be making many tonight.

And I'm trying to edit my manuscript right now??? LOL! (Final edit, though, I promise. Then Seph gets to crit it. )

Sorry to hear that your diagnosis/es is/are still in flux.

We can only hope that when the diagnosis (whichever it is) is confirmed, there's a suitable treatment/regime to help you make the very best of things.

And good luck with that Seph crit.

Thanks. You're another one who always gives support in here. It's always appreciated, I hope you know.

And . The Seph crit will be worse than the gynaecology scans! He's a brutal monster when he reads........ I'm terrified my work won't be up to his high standard and his estimation of me will go down (he assures me it won't ever - but who can tell?!). I'm no Tolkien or Rowling or Jordan!!!

I suppose he'll be glad I'm not a bloke, actually.

I will get some more prepared, honest. I'm just slow.

Which won't do anything about the pain, but will give you someone else to blame it on.

Oh no, Chris! I would never blame you! You're lovely!

Really, I understand you're busy and have a life outside Critiques, so I'm not asking you to rush. TBH, what you did already was fantastic. Hopefully you'll have been relieved that you didn't have so many newbie errors to correct in mine, at least (except for that shocking comma after the adjective before the noun - I swear he threw himself there when I wasn't looking!)

Punctuation marks have a gender!!!???

(And will I have to make sure there's no gender bias in my punctuation?)

All commas are male, don't you know. All periods are male, too. And question marks. It's the exclamations and curvy double quotes and tildes that are female.

And YES! OMG, YES! Watch out for kamikaze commas! You don't know the half of it! They're like boomerangs when they come flying at you...

(Hiya, FM!)

Not as dangerous as those nasty guillemets - get you whichever way you try to run...

I think I can now see why certain people are so prejudiced against semicolons, and you see so few colons....

Re: Shout Your Frustrations to the World! (You know you want to.(READ FIRST POST))

I suddenly saw a hemikaze semicolon, with the vicious commasickle slashing out at me, while the full stop, ball and chained to it, hung back weeping and insisting he was too young to dye…

Hmmm, perhaps it's time I moved off, before the «nice men» bring that long-sleeved jacket again.

Py!!!!!!!

Blimey, those look deadly. I shall never offend guillemets (even the name sound like.... like a guillotine!)

I love colons, though. And semicolons. But, Chrispy - it wasn't a chain attached to the ball, it was a period attached to an ellipsis! Those are PAINFUL when they hit you. They work TOGETHER!)

And nay, it's more fun being insane. I'll stand by you; no one will cart you off.
