| Living in Paradise | Re: Shout Your Frustrations to the World! (You know you want to.(READ FIRST POST)) Yes a thread for me to vent...... Ok it all started some months back when my sone who is now working (apprentice electrician) decided to buy a NEW COMPUTER. Mine is to old, to slow and just uncool, hey thats fine by me. So first he orderded the thing, they didnt have all the parts and he would have to wait two weeks (big deal I think, its only two weeks) No not good enough, so he ordered it from way over the other side of the city and naturally assumes I will go over there to get it. Fortunatly they didnt have the parts either, so its back to the original store and the two week wait. In the meantime, he ordered the screen from somewhere else, the original place didnt have what he wanted. So trip one of many to go get the monitor. This also mean rearranging his room as he wasnt going to share the study with my "old computer" Finally the new computer is ready....... First unsucessful trip, I meet him after work, halfway to the store, but he was running late and the store couldnt stay open (fair enough to I say, when you have worked all day, you want to go home) One angry child later, driving home, venting his anger, I though it best not to say anything (I apprectiated his frustration, but what could I do) So next day, I left work early, drove an hour to the store, picked up said new computer and proceeded the almost two hours home in peek hour traffic (hence the extra hour) One would think child would be eager to get going on new computer, nope wanted me to drive him down the street for a haircut. (Tolerance is running low about now) Last night, settled down for a peaceful evening, screams break the air, dvd drive not working, more venting, anger and extremely bad words from son (not impressed). So who do you think is taking computer back today, as son is working YES you guessed it Me. and through all this I have retained my composure, remained calm and now understand that old saying "why some animals eat their young" Old computer is still running, maybe a bit slow but always reliable (actually its alot faster now that son has removed stuff from it. Also he still owes me $400 as he was short when I went to pick up computer... Got to love them. |

| The Wicked Sword Maiden | Re: Shout Your Frustrations to the World! (You know you want to.(READ FIRST POST)) I hate unreliable people, especially publishers who dont get the books out when they say they will. I hate it when I have just saved enough to buy a book and I have to use it to pay a bill instead. I hate living here, I hate the neighbours, I hate dishonesty. I absolutely hate not being able to go abroad to meet all the Chronic people, despite all of the planes I drive!! |

| The Wicked Sword Maiden | Re: Shout Your Frustrations to the World! (You know you want to.(READ FIRST POST)) I only fly them when I come over to visit the Chronicles DG because it's such a long way to come! I had to use the M1 as a landing strip once when someone built a cricket pitch across it, so Ace kindly built me a landing strip! Your welcome to fly with me if you like...it's great fun. Occasionally I arrive in my submarine, or just appear in a beautiful rainbow mist! |

| 'what to eat' fan | Re: Shout Your Frustrations to the World! (You know you want to.(READ FIRST POST)) Experimental/empirical methods. When people visit,I give them owl's piss to drink. I even tried it myself once. It tasted better than Pepsi or Coke, and so now i't's my favourite drink. I've got my own owls! Be warned:don't try sheep's piss or dog's piss, and certainly do not mix them with martinis or rum. |

| Re: Shout Your Frustrations to the World! (You know you want to.(READ FIRST POST)) LOL Benny I like that, not owl piss, the humour. I'm so frustrated because I really feel like shouting something but on this sunny Sunday morning I don't have any frustration! |
