Every bugger around me has been sick for weeks, I had to succumb eventually.......

Anyway, I haven't been eating as much spice lately...not through choice, I might add, but it's sometimes hard to get decent chillies locally.

I like fresh ones.

I know how that can be...I had to go through hell to find habaneros for my latest hot sauce, but I think the ones I DID get were red savinas....

Well, if it's hard for you, try living on a little island in the North Atlantic.



I guess it's probably too cold to grow them in Oregon (I don't know, though...), but don't they grow them in California?

Anything spicy that comes here comes on a boat.

Consider it another rant, if you wish. We can't get spicy food without boats! Well, or planes......

Hehehe. Actually, I don't know where they grow them...considering that winter's coming in, it IS getting a little hard finding good hot peppers....even places like Arizona's getting too cold for them, I think they'd have to be shipped from Mexico....

Yeah, we get them shipped from Latin America too (well, that's where the pickled ones I buy are often from). Half the world away!

Sure, I love haggis. It's excellent, I eat it, well, reasonably often.

I'm American, Seph. The idea of eating a pasty pudding made from the innards of sheep or goats doesn't appeal to me....

I don't eat that stuff, to be honest....it is sickening. I do eat meat, but only recognizable portions that don't contain intestines or hearts....the only internal organ I eat of anything is liver.
