Thousands of years of religious brainwashing has taught most of Christian humanity that family is most important, whether or not you like them...and as for you minors and us who live at home, well, we have no choice in the matter.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I am most of the time....I understand completely. At least I may not have to spend Christmas with my stepfather....

I shouldn't say that. He's a pretty decent guy sober....

my blooming pc crashed wednesday..got it back today from repairs dude and its got another blooming virus...grr

so am on laptop for a lil while...ye olde fashioned late-90's one...soooo slow

Why is it that people are willing to suffer through colds and headaches, yet they're unwilling as hell to try habaneros?

Speaking as a migraine sufferer, I'm not sure "willing" is the right word (there are times when I'm not sure a pistol around here would go unused); it's more a matter of "will-I-nill-I"; whereas habaneros are something you inflict on yourself (and there I will say -- having a liking for the things -- "willingly")

Yeah, but did you guys know that capsaicin-the chemical found in peppers that make them hot-boosts the immune system and kills microbes? I almost never get sick, and I eat hot peppers all the time...I only wish others would do the same.
