I'm just glad we don't have wildlife that can eat us, here.

Cows are pretty deadly...they won't eat you, but they can trample you to death (there was such an incident in my village a couple of years ago).

Actually, at the moment I'm in the city of Exeter, as I go to the university there. But I grew up in a village (a huge one, actually, apparently its population means it can actually be classed as a market town or something) in North Warwickshire (the middle of the UK, or as close as you can get to it).

Here's something pretty random: I got licked by a cow once. Yuck. Never again! Not that that had been my intention in the first place... (no comments, please ).

But, eww! They stink!

And, er, that'll be my frustration for the day.

And I now have a real frustration.

I think the population of my village is about 8,000, so hardly a small, quaint village. Although apparently its roots go back to those first settlement types that sprung up around rivers, as a river runs right through the centre of it. And the church is pretty old. And there's a monument near to my house where the old Abbey stood before the dissolution. There is quite a lot of history in that place, I guess.

You have to post in "serious" threads, Citadel. That means posting in places that involve science fiction, fantasy, books, the media etc. Not introductions or the lounge or the playrooms, those places don't count, I'm afraid.

Oh hey, we got rid of the mad cows, we burned them all in a big pile. Then they got foot-and-mouth instead, so we burned all of those cows too. At the rate we burn cows, I'm surprised there's any still here.


Oh, and you should go and make up some six-word stories in the Workshop. That'll boost your post-count. Posts on the General Discussion boards generally don't. Although there are only two people in the world who truly understand the system, and one of those is dead.
