Owen

ANyone know what became of Owen from KTB? By alla ccounts he should be a powerful magician and have a big part to play in the world....but he just disappeared

Seems very odd

any chance he could be the crawler/Varen....?

Re: Owen

He was never mentioned again in the series, which is really odd seeing as how Fiest likes to bring most of his key characters back in later sagas. I would guess this is the case because KTB was a novelization of a computer game that was made in the early 90's of his world. He helped create and approved the story, and modified it into book form. This would be the only reason I could see him writing out the Owyn character, since he was a character specifically created for the video game.

Re: Owen

I always wondered what happened to him later, he's not mentioned again to my knowledge apart from briefly in a later book. I'm not exactly sure which one though, its going to bug me now. I'm going to skimming through all the books later lol

I did read a comment by Feist on this a while ago - IIRC Feist didn't really feel he had anywhere more to go with a character that he didn't originally create.

Re: Owen

I haven't read into a dark realm yet, so maybe I'm thinking of something else or getting confused again.

It would have been nice for a more decisive ending to the character so to speak than end up in limbo of the unwritten.
