Parasite?

Robert definately has something distinctly non-Human inside him, but as far as we know all his organs (Brain, Liver, Heart etc) work as a humans; He could still get drunk, he still bleeds. he heals quickly, but in the same way as a human.

I'm thinking the "thing" inside him is some sort of parasite or symbiote, using him to stay alive?

This is very interesting Deiros - in fact it reminded me of that Futurama episode when Fry eats a dodgy sandwich and parasitic worms improve his body rather than destroying it.

Although I'm not saying Robert got this way from something he ate!

If Robert has a parastic organism living inside him, then do you think it is a new species, an alien, or even something dangerous? Why would Ryan be hunting him otherwise?

I'm not sure about a parasite. As far as we can see, there are no adverse effects from this... thing, so I'd prefer to call it a symbiote.

But... is it "alive" as an organism, or is it a "living" machine? Is it some form of adapting nanotechnology that enhances the body's healing mechanisms? Is it at all feeding off of him?

Is it using him as shelter? It would make sense for an organism, or even an Artificial Intelligence, to go into another organism to be protected.

Also, I'm not sure, but it seems possible (to me) that Robert is stronger than usual... I seem to recall him saying something to that effect. Not sure.
