Lovecraft Reading Group: Poll

All right... we've had three suggestions for the next story for the HPL reading group:

"The Rats in the Walls"
"The Colour out of Space"
"Pickman's Model"

The way I suggest we run this is to give it a few days to a week to get all the votes in (though if people would prefer to start sooner, that's fine with me); the story with most votes comes first, next down second, etc.; and the discussion can begin as soon as someone feels like getting the ball rolling.

Any other ideas for this?

Of course! The more the merrier! I just posted the poll because we'd rather stalled in the other thread, and I thought this might make it easier for people to join in.....

Well, seeing as I suggested it (I did suggest it, right? ) I'll go for Rats as well!

As there's no way I can lay my hands on "Rats":
Colour
OR Pickman's

I voted "Colour" too, but I'm just as happy with "Rats" as well.

Re: Lovecraft Reading Group: Poll

Am happy with any of them and I'll try and peek in here every so often though I don't have much of a knowledge about the Old Gent's works. I love them and I've read them over and over again but I think I just have what I feel to offer rather than any real literary value.

And right now my life's more upside down, inside out and topsy turvy than usual with the new job so I think I'll need to peek in here. Rats In The Wall sound rather more sane.

Namaste GOLLUM ... it's good to see you here.

Re: Lovecraft Reading Group: Poll

Well, as you know, Nesa, I think you have a lot to contribute on that score; not only because you write very insightful reviews in general, but because of your love for HPL's work and your own unique take on some of it. So I hope you'll be able to add to the discussions....

Re: Lovecraft Reading Group: Poll

Well, as it's been a week and more since this was posted, I'll now close the thing. I'd rather expected more people to chime in, but 6 votes cast will do. Looks like the lineup is:

"The Rats in the Walls"
"The Colour out of Space"
"Pickman's Model"

So... I'll begin a new thread on the first of the stories....
