Favourites: Connavar, Adult Banouin and Govannan, Jaim and Huntsekker, Dace/Tarantio amongst others can't think of ones I didn't really like maybe Braefar because of what he did.

Best = Druss or Waylander. Easy stuff.
Worst = kinda hard to pick we've got plenty to choose from.

Like who?

Viruk definitely stood out for me when I was reading Echoes. I'm not sure whether I loved or hated him though. And I have to admit I was pretty keen on Skilgannon too.

Re: The Best and Worst Gemmell Character

Best - definitely Viruk. Why? Cos in the end when his race was finished, he still got to be the god: Of corse I'm alive you idiot, I'm a god. Genius
then obviusly Waylander ( probably because he was the first novel i read, and he is hard to kill, and he is kind of a dark character, battling the evil inside and always paying his debts - usually dealing death

I'd have to say the worst was Signari for me. The best, too many to chose from.

i would have to change my mind about best and say decado just because he changed from the worst of the worst to the leader of the thirty right before our eyes.

Re: The Best and Worst Gemmell Character

Worst for me - Druss, cannot stand the character

Best would be a toss-up between Waylander or Dace/Tarrantio

Dace/Tarantio. Did he ever write any more books with that character? Only remember reading one. Story itself wasn't the best but the possessed protagonist was a class idea.

Worst has to be Jon Shannow. Not that I disliked the novels, its just I see him as the literary equivalent of Keanu Reeves.
Finn and Maggrig were homosexual characters. I'm not insulting them but they really were in love with each other. Did you notice they only had one bed in their entire cabin?
