Heroes: The end of season 1 is near

Yay! Heroes picked up again last night.

Claire finally meets her father, but he's a bit of an a** towards her. Do you think Nathan has chosen Linderman's side? I think he has, but I'm not clear as to why exactly.

Is Nathan's mother part of Linderman's original group, but one of the ones he had a fallout with or are they still partnered? Does she have a power?

Isaac said he showed others how to kill Sylar. I presume Sylar will have to die soon. Or perhaps he'll steal the shapeshifters gift and atomic Tom's gift, and he'll be the one blowing up the city.

Jessica surprised me. She apparently loves her son with both personalities.

There aren't many episodes left. It's my understanding that next year will be completely different; maybe with all new characters and issues.

How did you arrive at this understanding? Is there a link or URL to go to?

I read an interview with the creator in ..... maybe Wired magazine, but I'm not real sure.

Spoiler: The article said (paraphrasing) that next season we would follow the lives of family members, like Mohinders sister, and all new Heroes. New story lines, new people, and new heroes. I assume a few of the cast members will remain, but it sounded to me like they were going to catch, imprison, then kill off the Heroes from this season.

Oh, shoot! I hope they don't kill them all off.

Damm, that will teach me to read threads that I shouldnt. We are a few episodes behind, Claire hasnt yet meet her father etc etc....
I am a little concerned that they may have all new characters, I would miss the ones we have already especially Hiro and Jessica, they wouldnt do that to us would they?????????

For my part, I want Peter, Hiro, Claire, Jessica/Nikkie and family to survive. Oh, and Mohinder.

Oh yes, I like Mohinder. Dont tell me if you already know, but I wonder does Mohinder have a special power he has not tapped into yet?

If he does, it's definitely not to follow clues and come to logical decisions.

Would you explain how you came to that conclusion? I would like to see your chain of thought.

It was clear that Jessica loved her son way before this new ep. The only thing they have a common with eacother and many other mothers their love to thier young.

Mohinder is the scientist he doesnt need powers.

I think it would be lame if suddenly he also had powers, there is a need for someone to study them just like Mohinder thinks.

They have given us clues in the last eps that they arent meant to save the world by saving NY from the bomb. Maybe the danger is what Linderman and co build up after the bomb and change the world to a way they want.

Looks like poor Nathan might become thier puppet president.

What the heck! The more I learn about Matt Parkman, the more I really don't care for him at all. He seems too malliable - what a wimp.

It was quite the shock that Nathan wasn't Nathan after all. I didn't see it coming. But it also means that Nathan isn't necessarily the creep he's made out to be.

I also can't help but wonder what happened to Peter's face that he couldn't regenerate.

Matt definitely had turned to the dark side in last night's five-years-in-the-bad-future episode. Sylar (pretending to be president) had him thoroughly duped.

But hooray for Mohindar, foiling the planned genocide (or at least part of it) by injecting the Haitian instead of Hiro!
