Re: Heroes: The end of season 1 is near

If you go to the Heroes myspace Heroes then it tells you quite a few snippets there and there's a lovely teasing trailer too!

I was under the impression that Sylar doesn't die as he's apparently signed up for the second season. Also, Claire does die... but is saved from future Peter or something...

We're way behind over here in the UK, we've only just met Christopher Eccleston's character (the invisible one) and Hiro still hasn't found his sword...

I am so loving this show though, by far the best thing on TV at the moment...

xx

Do you know if it is the last episode ever or the last of the season..........because if it continues into season 2 i am really enthused to know what the plot would be about.

Anyone who is 'behind' on episodes can watch all the ones we've seen in America at the NBC website. All I know is that right now I am VERY upset, because...

Spoiler: I liked Ted! So now Ted and possibly DL are dead, which totally kills this show for me, because they were the two guys who had actual powers I'd expect a superhero to have.

On a side note, with Ted dead, it will be interesting to see if Peter retains his knowledge of people's powers once they are dead.

Re: Heroes: The end of season 1 is near

perhaps some spoilers

so it looks like there's more to come. The only characters we lost for sure are Nathan, Ted and Linderman. Maybe next season Mr. Muggles will play his hand. I like how the old guy that Peter used to nurse turned out to be the source of his dream power. My favorite moment was when Claire jumped.

We don't know about Nathan. We know from previous episodes that he can generate a sonic boom, so he flies at least that fast. He just had to get him up there and then fly away.

Then again, logic doesn't work well with this show. Once the FBI captured Ted and it was just Peter and Claire trying to leave the city, why'd they stay stuck in a traffic jam? He could have just flown them away. And if he dropped her a few times? No biggie... she heals.

Yes! you got me. Nathan could fly really really high. Let Go of Peter and speed to a safe distance. Maybe even come back and pick him up on the way down. Still enough questions left to keep people comming back. I wish I could frame by fram what was going on in Sylar's eyes at the end.

Wasn't the pictures in Skylar's eyes the same as we saw on the canvasses?

I just saw it again. It appeared to have a shot of a girl and a building. It was hard to tell in real time. As usual, I recorded Heroes-Atlantis on SciFi, so I will slowmo it later and make sure.

WOOT! I knew there had to be a heroes link somewhere on here.

Over the last few days I watched all of season 1 and 2 in order....

And of course have two questions to which you may be able to answer, well questions or theories....

First, every time Sylar Dies or nearly dies (Paper Company first and later after Hiro stuck him with the pointy end) there is that roach. Could be this is the "avatar" of the one that Molly says looks back at her when she seeks him out? (After all there is one worse than the boogeyman (Sylar) who may have an interest in him being around)

And Second, didn't Kensei (sp?) look an awful like George Takei even with the armor on.....and calling that brief segment generations? May Hiro's Father have an unusually long life?

And Re: Ted, doesn't that actor have to star in the new Geico Caveman series? hehe just kidding, but Ted's dead. As for DL, how many times can that guy be near death after being shot and then be totally lucid by the next segment, Mohinder is a geneticist not a combat medic and even if that were the case, to be unconscious and probably in shock to lucid is a tremendous stretch. It took Claire almost as long to be lucid again after Parkman shot her.

LOL No not Hiro, but when you have 2 month gaps between episodes it felt like 2 seasons. Haven't owned a TV in years so I watch it at a bar usually.

Pardon my over enthusiasm, first show I have followed in years.

Your enthusiasm is forgiven, shared and equally enthusiastic!
