Crash and burn What have you been doing to this site??? Earlier today, well, at this time, yesterday... I was trying to get on this site, and everytime I pulled the address from my favourites, my computer crashed as soon as the top title started to load!!! 8 times I tried... And *CRASH* Now, as I am about to head to bed, thought I'd try and HEY PRESTO I can get in!!! Okay, is there something I need to know??? Are their virtual mines in the site???

Re: Crash and burn I got a Dell last year at work, after my old PC crushed and after a long agony finally died. At home, I have a Gateway product. No bad at all. Well, since I had to erase all my programs and re-install them, I learned my lesson : fellow Norton takes care about the viruses, no more cookies or alien contamination. Just kidin'. I do the defragmenation once a week and clean all Temporary Internet Files on a daily basis. Still, one more problem : I could't avoid Windows XP.

Re: Crash and burn Gateway, is that a supermarket? Back in the eighties we had one of those where I live. I assumed they had changed their name to Asda but I assumed wrong it would seem.

Re: Crash and burn Gateway is an American computer company founded in 1985 in Iowa. I don't know if they sell their products in Europe. I bought my computer because the screen is in plasma and doesn't need much place. It's a very good tool for computer games and DVD movies. I cannot confirm the link with Compaq. In other words, I don't know anything about it.
