The next troy novel

With the regretful death of david, and even though he has left his wife all his study notes and the way he wants it to end, even though she may be capable do u think she will have his style of writing to do thet final book justice

She is the best person to do it as he has being throwing ideas and prose at her for years if anybody could get inside DG's head and finish the book the way David wanted it then she is the one

The other side of things is that Stella is the one who conducted the research for David as it was something that he hated. If theres anyone who has a chance to getting it right I would say it would be her. I suggest reading the interview with her on my website as I think some of the questions that you have are answered there.

Brilliant book. Just finished reading it. Loved every bit of the trilogy, but this was the best of the three. I thought they sould of included a scene between Helikaon and Achilles though. After fighting together, there should of been some sort of dialogue betwen the two.

I agree, I thought it the best of the Troy series and one of the best David has written. I cant believe there will be no more books from this great author taken from us far too soon. I used to so look forward to every September when David's new novel was published each year.

I dont live that far from Sussex where David lived, and I regret I never went to any of the book signings David gave when he released his novels, If only so that I could have thanked him personally for the enormous pleasure he has given me over the years.

David Gemmell then Robert Jordan, two great authors that have left us and my thoughts are with their families.

ps
I can only hope that GRRM lives forever.
