Re: Croeso/Welcome Wow...I feel so important to actually be semi-qualified to join here. Thanks for setting this up, Chris and Brian! Now back to finishing my essay for class. Man, St. Augustine likes to overanalyze...

Re: Croeso/Welcome So, who went to Alt-Fiction last Saturday? 'Tis an event that's definitely growing... and anyone vaguely interested in writing should make an effort next year. Only went to one panel - screenwriting with Gallagher and Joyce: enlightening. ![]() Iain M Banks' reading and Q&A was fantastic, a seriously funny bloke. Here's too '08. ![]()

Re: Croeso/Welcome No problem, a warm welcome to you all. ![]() And Ian Banks was great - definitely good for us in Scotland that he's doing all the little literary festivals here this year, including my home town. ![]()

Re: Croeso/Welcome Good to see you there Chris (and Brian!), and I agree totally with regard to Iain M Banks -- a great way to round off the day. Shame the only beer they stocked at the bar was Worthington's, but I suppose you can't have everything. It was a very enjoyable day all round and well worth the trip.
