He was - he's supposed to be dead as he'd ran out of regenerations. But............!

I think a "dum dum dum!" is needed there.

Re: 29.03: Gridlock

David Tennant dropped the most hints.

He I believe said something along the lines that we will find out if the face of Bo is talking about. He isnt right but he's not wrong. Enigmatic or what.

Re: 29.03: Gridlock

It's a shame they cut down so much for the repeat of the Confidential. If anyone has a copy of Saturday's lying around still (on HDD, TiVo, Sky+ or video) I'd be interested in the wording of the one liner about the nature of the Face of Boe, somewhere in the last ten minutes, either from RTD or (as I believe), DT. Probably just fuelling the speculation.

Master (Doctor Who) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Am I right in thinking that The Doctor should have run out of regenerations about 2 doctors ago???!!! If so, it certainly leaves the door open for The Master.

Re: 29.03: Gridlock

I think there's some ambiguity, but it's generally thought that the current Doctor is the tenth Doctor, so he's on his ninth regeneration.

It is possible that there is now no limit to the number he can have, and that he has had 8, 9, 12 or 13, or none of the above.

The cynic in me would say "As many as the franchise can stand ", but is drowned out by the fan shouting "Hooray!"
