Boredom. Thrills. Peer pressure. As part of an initiation. Several other possibilities come to mind. Why do teenagers engage in most of the types of vandalism that they do?

Re: everyone's a critic.............

You don't think it was a plea for help to escape the hype surrounding the lauch of Deathly Hallows then?

Apparently an ordinary Sprinter train parked up, if that's the right phrase, nearby was left completely untouched. Shows it wasn't done by your average commuters, anyway

Oh, no. They'd do it because it was the H.P. train... that'd be the thrill/challenge/initiation aspect....

Re: everyone's a critic.............

Since there is such a big fuss over the vandalism of the train. At least one thing is certain..... the train scene will not be left out in Order of the Phoenix.

We are either going to see them going to Howarts (a bit boring) or Malfoy getting his ass whooped by the D.A when they are leaving Hogwarts(eventful).

Because defacing public property is a rite of passage brotherman. And sometimes walls just need a sexual organ spray painted on them.
