Sad news for Weave

Hi Weave.

Sorry I missed this when it first occured. Just wanted to say how sorry I am at this news. I hope things are a little better now and please know you have online friends you can always chat to.

I lost a parent several years ago now so I've some idea what it's like.

Yes, first holidays and birthdays without them is a jolt. It does get better, but not quickly; and I'm not sure it ever quite goes away... but the feelings tend to have more of an overlay of the good memories to turn the hurt into that much less painful sort of "sweet melancholy" one so often hears about....
