Does the fantasycon have a free bar for three days? One company sponsors the bar, another puts wine on the table for the meals and a champagne reception on the middle day. Another sponsors the free bottles of water during the day - needed after the free bar the night before! A couple of years ago we managed to drink the on-site bar dry... First the tap lager and beer, then the bottled beers and we were working our way through the alcopops at one point....the last one was hard going but we had to try. ![]() ![]() I presented a paper a few years ago - got to bed at 4 am the night before but at least I wasn't on til the 3:30pm slot...got there at 9 to be told that a resuffle had put me on at 10 am instead! | |

| Re: Fantasycon 2007 <Does the fantasycon have a free bar for three days? > No but you do get a free drink or two at the book launches. And I have lost count the amount of times at Fantasycons we have drunk the bar dry and on occasions went for breakfast because the bar closed, last year being the latest one. ![]() |
