Jim Butcher is actually travelling around hitting several conventions this year.

This weekend, he'll be at StellarCon in High Point, NC!

I'll be stalking him... I mean... seeing him there.

Later this month, he'll be at ICon in New York

Has he ever been at Dragoncon in Atlanta in September? That is the one I went to last year (before I discovered his books, unfortunately).

Have you ever been to that one? Wow, it is AWESOME!!! But whatever you do, don't try to get tickets on Saturday. The line is 4 hours long. No kidding, and my feet and back can testify to that. Get tickets on Friday or preregister for a 2-day pass ($80), even if you only plan to go for one day (they won't let you preregister for one day, hence the problem). Well, worth it...and no one wants to stand in line in downtown Atlanta on concrete on a Saturday in sweltering September heat for 4 hours for a one day pass at $40 each. Trust me!

Jim has been to D*C - a couple years back, he even met James Marsters - and from what I understand, it was a quickly made arrangement when the two had a break at the same time and they got to chat for a bit. *g*

I don't know if Jim has plans to go again - I don't think he'll be there this year (tho *I* am planning to go), but sometimes, we never know.
