Hmmm. I'm not sure I made myself very clear. I wasn't thinking of the sort of "chat rooms" one sees on so many forae, but certainly I don't think there would be any objection to you having a thread (this one would do, unless you wish to change title) where you have conversations. My only caution -- and this is probably unnecessary, but better to be on the safe side -- is to keep in mind the rules of conduct for the forum. As long as that's done, I see no reason to not go ahead and have something like that. Just friendly chat and get to know people a bit. That's what most of the Lounge area was intended for, anyway (though it's got to be something of a zany zone, now that you mention it....

)

At any rate, welcome, Melody, and I'm sure you'll meet plenty of good company here. Enjoy, and I look forward to seeing your posts!

Hi, Melody, and welcome. Sorry I haven't been in much lately. I was just reading the posts here, and I must say, things are certainly easier to catch up on than in other parts of the lounge. Glad to see someone new willing to start her own thread. Guess you're not as shy as j.d. might have thought. Have fun at the Chrons, and don't be too shy to stop in on other threads, and put your two cents worth in.

Hi and thanks! Glad to her that someone doens't think I'm shy. I noticed when I was looking on other threads that they always have some special subject and when you answer to those you don't always get so much of an answer, so I thought that I start an own thread instead. Maybe then people would write to me more, bcs I hope to get some new friends in here.
