Series 3 Does anyonoe know when the new series of Doctor Who will be starting? For that matter, does anyone know when the new series of Torchwood / The Sarah Jane Adventures will be starting? (I know it's for kids, but I really enjoyed the first Sarah-Jane episode at New Year)

Re: Series 3 Last I heard, series 3 of Doctor Who was scheduled to start Saturday 31st March. I doubt that a date has been set for series 2 of Torchwood yet, since they haven't even started filming, but it will probably be end of 2007/beginning of 2008. I'm not sure about The Sarah Jane Adventures... I seem to remember that they weren't starting filming until around March/April of this year, so it'll probably be at least Autumn before the series is aired.

Re: Series 3 *Mild Spoilers* * * * * * * * In the first episode he meets his new assistant. She works in a hospital that is transported to the Moon, and together they tackle some evil enemy. Later in the series they meet William Shakespeare and take on the Daleks in Manhattan.

Re: Series 3 yeah can't wait for this Saturday, or Friday (see weakest link thread) Torchwood will be end of 2007 round about October, can't wait to see John Barrowman in Doctor Who though (last 3 episodes).

Re: Series 3 Looking forward to the whole series... even if it does start whilst I'm away for the weekend. Thank goodness for both videos and repeats on BBC3. (The following is guesswork, rather than factual...) Judging from the end-of-season high speed trailer after losing Rose, I'd say that we're facing witches at some point (could be the Shakespeare episode, historically timewise it's relevant and plotwise would be clever), the Face of Boe is making a reappearance, and all in all why couldn't Torchwood have put in this much effort.

Re: Series 3 don't there's witches but apparently episode 2 "The Shakespeare Code" is going to be the funniest... How can you say that about Torchwood?!? What on Earth could they possibly be lacking in, before you answer can I point out that they can't time travel so they wont get as much a variety as Doctor Who...???!!! ![]()
